What makes you different from other pharmacies?
We believe that as an integrative pharmacy HealthSource offers a unique value proposition by focusing on four core competencies; Pharmacy, Medical Supplies, Nutritional Supplements, and Health Food. We do not try to be convenience stores like some drugstore chains, and we do not offer everything one can imagine under one roof like big box store. But what we do offer is a full spectrum of pharmaceutical care services that integrate alternative and traditional knowledge to help our patients make the most informed decisions.

What are your hours?
HealthSource Pharmacy and Health Food Store is open late 7 days per week for our customers convenience. Please click on this link to find our pharmacy and store hours for each location.

What insurance plans do you take?
HealthSource accepts all major insurance plans, probably including yours. Please click on this link to view a representative list of insurances we accept. You can always call one of our stores to confirm we accept your insurance plan.

How do your prices compare to drugstore chains and other pharmacies?
Our customers are often surprised that a neighborhood mom and pop store like ours is able compete effectively on price with drugstore and big box chains. More often than not you will find that our prices are superior to that of most drugstore chains. We are extremely proud that we are able to provide consistently high level of personalized caring service at a price point that is often superior to that of major chains.

Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver free of charge in the neighborhoods we serve plus we are able to mail your package anywhere in the United States, overnight if requested.

What are your return policies?
HealthSource gladly accepts returns from in-store purchases if the product is deemed saleable and is accompanied with a receipt that demonstrates the product was purchased within 30 days.

If I have questions, can I speak to a pharmacist?
HealthSource is proud to have some of the best trained and knowledgeable integrative pharmacists in the industry. Whether you have a question about a prescription drug, a medical device, an alternative therapy for a certain condition, or maybe a nutrition related question, our pharmacists stand ready to assist you. When you call our pharmacy more often than not one of our pharmacists is the one answering the call. We pride ourselves on being YOUR neighborhood drugstore, and that means having a pharmacist available when you need one.

How do I transfer a prescription?
One thing that many consumers are not aware of is that most prescription refills can be refilled at any pharmacy (in New York controlled substances are not transferrable). So in essence prescription refills belong to the patient and not the pharmacy, and can be filled at any pharmacy the patient chooses. When a patient chooses to transfer their prescriptions to one of our pharmacies, all we need to know is what medication they want and where the original prescription was filled. We take care of everything else. It is that simple.

Do you fill prescriptions prescribed and ordered over the internet?
No. HealthSource Pharmacy will not accept prescriptions prescribed over the internet.

How do I know my private information is secure?
HealthSource is a licensed pharmacy. All privileged private patient information is only accessible by our pharmacist and pharmacy staff under the supervision of our pharmacists. HealthSource is a HIPAA compliant institution that values and guards private information that patients entrust us with. Under no condition will we ever sell private patient information to a third party. You can rest assured that keeping patient information private is a duty we take seriously.
